Meet Richie. He’s a 9 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix with a very beautiful chocolate brown coat and sparkling amber eyes. He’s my foster pup and is available for adoption through Canine Lifeline. He came to Canine Lifeline from an overcrowded dog pound and was in danger of euthanasia.
He just loves to play with anyone and especially loves to play with other dogs! You’ll have to check out his video below to see how much he enjoys everyone’s company. He is still very puppy like in his manners and will need some training, but he learns pretty quickly. Especially if you have a treat handy. He’s already learned sit, paw, down and drop it. He is crate trained, but we’re not sure on the house training yet. He also seems to be okay with cats. He’s tried to play with Frankie, but Frankie doesn’t understand dog language and just stared at Richie instead.
